Picked up a pretty cool Coast Guard video today; very nicely edited. I’m not a huge Kid Rock fan, but the general theme seems to fit the CG motivational video pretty well.

For a little back story, I made this video during the summer of 2003 while going through Aviation Preflight Training in Pensacola. For every subject, we’d get a different instructor-Navy, Air Force or a Marine. With each one, we had to watch a “motivational” video -basically their service blowing stuff up.It got a little old… So, I dug through the internet at that time, and found every video clip I could. I worked on several iterations of the thing before finally saying “heck with it, it’s done”.
The hardest part was in fact picking a song. I wanted it to be sort of tough, but fun, and kind of “in your face” to the other services. And since I was going through flight school, I wanted it to be mostly aviation related – no offense 
P.S. The video of the shuttle at the end of the clip is of Atlantis STS-106. STS-106 carried the second Coastie into space, Daniel C. Burbank.
