Got hooked up with box tickets for the game tonight to watch the Wild pull out a 3-2 win in overtime! The energy at the Xcel was absolutely awesome tonight — click on the picture for a quick movie clip from after the final goal.
… was awesome right up until they lost in overtime. :-/

and you know you have a million things you should be doing, what to you actually do? You play the piano. At least that’s what I did this morning. The good news is this brings about 2 new tasks to add to my list:
1) Tune the piano
2) Play more (fingers are starting to lose muscle memory)

I ended up upgrading my DSL access to 5mbps anyway. One can never have too much bandwidth at home, afterall.
After years of solid performance things are starting to crumble. All summer I was able to regularly hit 27mbps peaks with Comcast’s delayed packet shaping (aka PowerBoost) and then things would lock in right at 8mbps after being shaped. Over the last couple weeks things have degraded until they hit a new low tonight:
